Key Responsibilities

 

Evaluation and incubation of new business opportunities for organic and inorganic growth

​

• Market research and analysis related to strategic initiatives to assist the Management Team in decision making

• Develop and Validate Business Models and Strategies for a new business vertical in hospitality domain besides other new business opportunities

• Help conduct business feasibility exercises and financial scenario planning

• Create the Implementation charter with key milestones and business KRA’s

• Project manage the project (across functions) to fruition

 

Monitor the new business verticals

• Attend and monitor all review meetings

• Support the management team of investee companies/new business verticals and assist in integration

• Provide strategic support for existing lines of business

​

Track the External Environment

​

• Understand the various business verticals and the competitive environment

• Provide inputs to the Management team on the emerging consumer/business/competitive trends

​

​

Skills

​

• Excellent grasp of financials and numbers and deep knowledge of the linkages between accounting, MIS and business numbers

• Experience in a hospitality industry especially in a resort / time-sharing business is mostpreferred

• Independent and result oriented

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent analytical and presentation skills

• Quick learner, is flexible, has the ability to multitask

Qualifications

​

• Engineering with a Management Degree with 7+ years’ work experience

• 5+ years’ experience in business planning and strategy/consulting, Investment Banking or

       in a VC fund /funded start-up /media / hospitality organization
